Little Artist

Eleanor spent a good deal of today painting. She painted people, flowers and this monster. She kept saying she was practicing so she could paint like the pictures we saw at the museum.

We made a quick trip the the grocery store this evening. An employee gave Eleanor a balloon with a lollipop attached. As she happily ate her lollipop, she was trying to explain to me how this one was different from other lollipops she's had, that it was better. I asked her what made it so good and she started singing, loudly, "Sugar, sugar, sugar," while waving the lollipop around. I saw a couple pass judgment on me and look at her in amusement.

No judgment! If you can't eat lollipops when you're young, when can you eat them (guilt free)?
