Pretty in Pink (and hating it)

Eleanor recieved this beautiful little dress from our good friend Chessie. I was anxious for her to wear it before she outgrew it (she is growing so fast!). We dressed her up all cute for church, complete with lace socks and little shoes. She was happy through most of church, content to lay on the pew inbetween us and stare at the blank pew back. Toward the end of the sermon when the preacher decided to pause to let a point sink in, Eleanor poops quite loudly. People three pews up turned around to see what the racket was only to see Matt and myself shaking with laughter. Eleanor was still lying contently on the pew...out of sight to the curious on-lookers.

Rotten Apple

There is a good reason for lack of posts recently. Our Apple decided that it did not want to recognize it's hard drive anymore. We still have the PC, but I haven't figured out how to upload new pictures onto it. After using the Mac almost exclusively for over a year, I've forgotten a lot about Windows. We are getting the hard drive replaced today, so it shouldn't be long before we have more pictures posted.

Anyway, Eleanor, Matt and I are doing well. She has been a wonderful baby today. I'm amazed at how good she has been. We (Eleanor and I, Matt was at work) went to Arkadelphia to listen to Gracia Burnham speak at OBU's chapel service. She slept most of the way to Arkadelphia, then was awake and quiet for the chapel service. She seemed to enjoy meeting new people and liked having lunch with her Uncle Josh. Then she slept all the way home.

I am also amazed at how big Eleanor is getting. Today as I was buckling her into her carseat I accidently caught her double chin under the strap (it didn't even wake her up). We will weigh her at her two month check up next week, but I'm sure she's over ten pounds.

I will get some more picture up as soon as a) I learn how to post them using the PC, or b) we get the Apple up and running again.

We went to Kroger last night. My curiosity had bested me and I wanted to know the weight of our child. We discreetly propped her up on the produce scale, much to the amusement of a woman passing by. She weighs over eight and a half pounds. What a good, fat baby we have!

While Matt is learning how to minister to the sick and weary in the hospital, I am learning how to meet the needs of a very demanding and small person. She is now a month old. That seems quite impossible.

You might notice that with Matt back at work, there are fewer pictures. I’ll work on that. I know you come here for the pictures and not the words. There are a few new pictures on the flicker site, click on the picture here to access them.
