Rings and Tears

Share Video at DropShots.com

Eleanor loves these rings from her rock-a-stack. Unfortunately, right now she has a cold. That is why the video ends the way it does. She had her six month doctor visit yesterday. She weighs 17.5 pounds and is 26 inches long. Her doctor said that she is "perfect." Then she woke up at four-thirty morning with a fever and a bad cold. Yuck When I called the doctor, the nurse said that they usually suggest waiting two days to see if a fever goes away before coming in, but since it was supposed to snow/ice tomorrow night I should take her in tomorrow if she's not better. I didn't think that I understood her right as I was standing in front of the open door relishing the springish breeze. After I hung up I checked the weather. What do you know, it is supposed to ice/snow. How bizarre.

I hope you enjoy the video.

It's a scary thing when small people have high temperatures, especially when bad weather and/or the weekend is nigh. Hope y'all feel better soon.

That's just bizzare, Cedar woke up last Friday morning with a fever and a bad cold. She had fever and a stuffed nose all weekend, lost the fever on Monday and now is basically back to herself. We took her to the clinic anyway on Monday just to make sure about her ears and throat.

Cheers to the wee Olympian! (and jeers to Olympian wee). She's obviously performing her mental preparations for a rings routine, and a subsequent emotional breakdown. She's gonna be great, or at least get a Nike endorsement for bad behaviour off the field.

I learn from Myle's blog that you're feeling perhaps a little Apartment Feverish? Well, I hope that soon passes. In fact, if you wanted to come to a possible lunch with Lana and Brandy and Dances with Beagles (that's me), why, I reckon you'd be right welcome.

Maybe I'll give you a call.
Maybe you'll read this days later and think--"why didn't he give me a call!?" Maybe Matt will read this and call ME!

call you what? A jerk for suggesting my daughter would perform in a mens gymnastic event?!?

Would you believe I once competed in rings? Well, "competed" is less accurate than say, "sagged between."
