For those of you who keep up with the news: don't worry about us. We are not even on the same island as Jakarta. Where we are is safe. If anything changes where that is not so, we will leave.
We're in a hole called "Academic Commitee Meetings, PTA Meetings, Budget Proposals, Lesson Plans, Mid-Term Test writing, Scholastic Book Orders, Emergency Lesson Plan writing, Career Week Essay Contest Judging and teachihng." Actually this is a long weekend in which I hope to accomplish all of those as yet unfinished goals. Also we've been greatly distracted by the arrival of three boxes from my family containing candy sweet candy, beef jerky, DVD's of The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Batman the Animated Series, Weezer Videos, not to mention the GameBoy Advanced with games. Do we really have time to post on this silly blog? Of course. Melody's already hatching the eggs of a plot in her mind for the next post. By the way, how dare you tap tap TAP on our weblog Mr. Goes-weeks-without-a-post?
