California
Last weekend I went to California to look at a Seminary called Fuller in Pasadena outside L.A. It was very cool. I'd like to go there but living in California can be a bit expensive. We'll see.
After I finished my visit in Pasadena I rented a car and drove up the coast to San Francisco. It took me 12 hours but I made lots of stops. You can see the pics in the ablum linked above. The views are amazing.

Made Up
We played in make-up today. There was a lipstick sample in a magazine I had and Eleanor discovered it. I remembered that I had some make-up somewhere. After a couple of minutes of rummaging, I found it. Eleanor throughly enjoyed the lipstick with the creamy eyeshadow a close second. She's striking a "model pose" for the camera. Actually she's dancing to the music that one of her toys makes. Most of her dance moves look like she's doint the robot.

Happy Easter!
This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago when the daffodils were blooming and the temperatures were about 40 degrees higher than they are right now. The dress Eleanor is wearing was to be her Easter dress this year. It's not new. She wore it several times last year and even to a wedding last spring. It is sized 6-9 months, but it still fits and is lovely. I think she will still be wearing it tomorrow, despite the cold cold weather (my"garden" is inside due to a freeze alert issued for tonight). Unfortunately, it will be worn with tights and a sweater (and probably a jacket too). Thank goodness Easter isn't about pretty dresses.

A Walk With Baby
Eleanor has shown quite a bit of interest in her baby doll lately. "Baby," as she's called, has experienced many new things lately. She's eaten everything from fruit leather to crackers. She's been dressed in all kinds of clothes. She dances and sings. One day I walked into the bathroom only to find Baby sitting, more reclining, on Eleanor's little potty. Today Baby went for a tricycle ride.
